                                                President:                   Kathy Kope

                                                Vice President:          Steve Smith

President Kope moved that the minutes of the January 26, 2007 meeting be approved.  Hayes seconded the motion.  Motion carried.  The annual letter on the activities of the Redevelopment Commission was discussed.  In reviewing the activities of the immediate past year, the Hudson Redevelopment Commission continued with only one new activity, the offset of costs associated with a possible new commercial activity.  To this end, the Commission has committed to the reimbursement of utility easements, driveway permit applications, and drainage on the site to be reimbursed over a five (5) year period beginning December, 2008.  The annual reimbursement will be $8,000. The Commission continued to stay focused on the completion of existing projects.  As of December 31, 2007, these projects were:

·         The western extension of the water and sewer lines completed in 2003 had a debt of $158,844.38.

·         The east water and sewer lines had a debt of $54,338.91.

The total indebtedness is $213,183.29 with the existing debt being repaid from Tax Increment Funds(TIF).  The end of the year balance in the TIF funds is $28,546.69.  The Tax Increment Replacement (TIR) funds have not yet been approved but were budgeted for $12,500 in addition to the regular TIF funds.  These funds should insure the ability to continue payments on the current debt.

President Kathy Kope motioned to approve the letter, seconded by Brian Hayes.  Motion carried.

Having no further business, a motion was made by Kathy Kope and seconded by Brian Hayes to adjourn.  Motion carried.

Respectfully submitted,

Atta “Tatsy” Hayes

Clerk-Treasurer

Kathy Kope,

President, Hudson Redevelopment Commission
