July 26, 2010 Town Council Report A drainage culvert has been installed at the intersection of West Wabash and Second Street in order to drain off excess surface water that develops on the North West corner property. Repairs have been made to a 6” water main valve at the intersection of South Main and Shenkel Drive. The reason for the repair was do to a valve operating nut that fell off. The extended water main at the Dollar General Store location was damaged by NIPSCO line crew while they were setting a power pole last Friday, July 23 2010. Repairs were made and water service was reestablished. We are still waiting on Auburn Tree Service to fall two trees and grind three stumps in town. The last time contact was made with them, they were still back-up on work.
